Making Tags
  1. Snip off the corner of a scrap piece of paper (of a different color), this is your pattern for each corner
  2. Make a rectangle, the desired size for your tag
  3. Place the scrap paper corner on one corner of your new tag and snip off the corner
  4. Now, flip over the scrap paper corner to snip off the other corner of your tag
  5. Punch a hole in your tag for a string, ribbon or wire.

Your new tag can be used for:
  • matting for one or more photos
  • writing on for journaling (can add a layer with lines)
  • a bunch of small tags can be used for the title of a page

You can add the following to decorate your tag:
  • chalk or sand around outside to add depth
  • stitch around the border to add color
  • double mat the tag to add a layered look
  • crumble the paper and chalk to add an aged look
