I'm sure this is scarcely news to Linux fans.  I have discovered one major limitation though, at least for those of us who want to use Knoppix with up to date Windows systems.  So far, Knoppix doesn't deal with writting to NTFS disks very well.  This doesn't get in the way of using Knoppix as a recovery disk or for any other uses where booting from the CD is sufficient, but it's not so good if you want to install and configure software that's not already installed.  Nor is it helpful if you want to save your work or settings.  A short term solution would be to get some sort of USB drive.</p><br>
